8:00 pm – Bristol Baptist Church
Richard Ruane, Beth Duquette and Mitch Barron are reuniting as Bread and Bones for this special Bristol Best Night New Years Eve show.
Vermont based Bread and Bones is a harmony driven acoustic trio that plays original music with a strong traditional-roots foundation. Richard Ruane has an articulate style of playing that extends to guitar, ukulele and tenor guitar. Mitch Baron has a wonderful presence on fretless, fretted and upright basses. Beth Duquette completes the trio with a rich alto that weaves through the music. All three members contribute lead and harmony vocals.
“Bread and Bones are entertainers of the first order, producing gorgeous harmonies, captivating lyrics, and witty banter.” Barbara Ebling, Ball & Chain Cafe
Terry Lickona, the producer of Austin City Limits said: “Ruane is adept at the fine art of storytelling put to song, whether it’s about the down-and-out, leaving one’s homeland, or a dark encounter in a Dublin park. His originals speak to different shades of love, joy, mystery and real life.”
Richard and Beth’s new album “Notch Road” is receiving international airplay and great reviews as well as reaching #19 on the Folk DJ Charts.
They will also be joined by special guest Phil Henry on a few tunes.
